We never imagined that we would be dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic when we originally made our commitment to bring the Irish Open back home to Mount Juliet Estate. Despite the obvious difficulties, the Mount Juliet Estate team, with the support Failte Ireland, and Kilkenny County Council, hosted one of the largest-scale sporting events in the pilot'returnto sport' scheme. It was a huge undertaking, and everyone involved achieved a great deal. We look forward to welcoming back the public under more relaxed circumstances in 2022.
